LegacyWorks offers life-story products and services across several tiers, including a do-it-yourself kit (Story Starter), a coached program (Story Keeper), and a produced documentary service (Story Legacy). The specific inclusions, timelines, and pricing of each are described on their respective pages and confirmed at the time of purchase or agreement.

You retain ownership of your family's stories, recordings, photographs, and materials. By working with us, you grant us the limited permission necessary to produce and deliver your project. We will not publish, market, or publicly share your family's story or likeness without your explicit, written consent.
You confirm that you have the right to share the materials and information you provide to us, and to arrange for the interviews and content involved in your project.
The LegacyWorks name, logo, website, written materials, kit contents, templates, and other original content are our intellectual property and are protected by law. When you purchase the Story Starter kit, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use its materials for your own family's project. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the kit or its contents.
You agree not to misuse the site or services, including by attempting to disrupt the site, infringe others' rights, or use our materials for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms.
Our products may reference or link to third-party tools and services (for example, recording or editing software, or scheduling and payment providers). We don't control these third parties and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
We take pride in our work and aim to deliver a meaningful result for every family. However, our services are provided “as is,” and we can't guarantee specific creative, emotional, or personal outcomes, or that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Guidance and tool recommendations in our kits are provided in good faith to help you succeed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegacyWorks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product or service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
